Anxiety Therapy for Teens and Adults
Serving Waxhaw, Charlotte, and Indian Land with virtual sessions available across North and South Carolina.
You may have reached a point where something just isn’t working the way it used to. Whether it’s your teen struggling with anxiety, withdrawal, or daily functioning—or you feeling overwhelmed, mentally exhausted, and stuck in cycles of overthinking—there’s a growing sense that pushing through isn’t enough anymore. Things that should feel manageable now feel heavy, inconsistent, or out of control. And despite your efforts, you’re not seeing the change you need. At a certain point, it’s not about trying harder—it’s about having the right support and a clear, structured way forward.
How I can help:
Therapy for Teens:
Support for adolescents who are struggling with anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or difficulty functioning in daily life. This often includes school stress, withdrawal, low motivation, or changes in eating and behavior that feel concerning or hard to navigate.
Sessions focus on helping teens better understand their emotions, feel more in control of their reactions, and gradually rebuild consistency in their routines, relationships, and overall well-being.
Therapy for Adults:
Support for adults experiencing anxiety, chronic stress, or a persistent sense of mental and emotional exhaustion.
Many clients come in feeling stuck—overthinking, overwhelmed by responsibilities, or disconnected from themselves and their lives.
Sessions focuses on developing clarity, emotional regulation, and practical strategies that reduce anxiety and make daily life feel more manageable and sustainable.

We have been working with Erica for a little over 2 years and she has been amazing to say the least. She has been a mentor and guidance for 2 of my girls and couldn't be more appreciative.
From day one she has created a safe and supportive space for them where they feel heard. We've seen positive changes in their confidence and how they handle challenges.
Thank you Erica for all that you do and for the dedication you bring to your work, it truly makes a difference.

After struggling with episodes of anxiety and depression over a number of years, I decided to seek professional support and discovered Erica and Carolina Counseling Minds. From my initial meeting with Erica, it was clear that I had found a counselor that not only listened carefully and thoughtfully, but genuinely cared about my challenges and issues and about me as an individual. Erica provided thoughtful and compassionate counseling. She did a great job of coaching me to dig deeper, to fully understand and address the specific issues causing my anxiety - without ever being overbearing. Her professionalism, ability and desire to listen, converse, understand and coach have been invaluable. Thank you, Erica.

I’ve had the privilege of working with Erica for the past few months, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. She is incredibly compassionate, patient, and skilled at creating a safe and non-judgmental space. Her ability to listen deeply and provide insightful feedback has helped me navigate through some of the most challenging times in my life. What sets Erica apart is her tailored approach to therapy. She genuinely understands the complexities of anxiety, inner child healing, and the impact of growing up with emotionally immature parents. Her use of evidence-based techniques, like CBT and DBT, has been incredibly effective in helping me break old patterns and find peace and freedom from anxiety. Erica’s dedication to her clients is evident in every session, and she goes above and beyond to ensure that I feel supported between appointments. If you’re seeking a therapist who is not only knowledgeable but also truly cares about your well-being, Erica is the one to see. I feel seen, heard, and validated every time I meet with her, and I’m so grateful for the progress I’ve made under her guidance.
